Both pieces were released in 1961, with Back Home appearing as the B-side of The Frightened City and 36-24-36 as the B-side of Kon-Tiki. Back Home has a Latin-influenced character, while 36-24-36 reflects the rhythmic instrumental style associated with The Shadows during this period.

Published in Istanbul by Musiki Ar-Ak Evi, the sheet belongs to the output of one of the notable music publishers and printing houses active in Turkey during the 1960s and 1970s.
