This is a Turkish-language, softcover Asterix comic published by Tercüman newspaper and sold alongside the daily paper for a small additional fee. Rather than being a standard bookstore release, this edition belongs to a newspaper-distributed promotional series that began publication in the early 1990s.

The Tercüman Asterix series was issued in an unusual format: each Asterix story was split into two separate booklets (A and B), together forming one complete story. In total, 12 Asterix stories were completed across 24 individual issues. Unlike many earlier Turkish editions, this series is fully printed in color, despite its low-cost production.

Because these comics were printed on thin, low-quality newspaper paper, copies are highly prone to wear, tearing, and aging, making well-preserved examples difficult to find today.

In addition to the Asterix story, each issue includes children’s puzzle pages, as well as recurring backup comic content.
