This is Volume 6 of the Turkish Captain America comic series, published by Alfa Yayınları in black and white. Due to the high cost of color printing in Turkey during the late 1980s, many foreign comics were locally reproduced by Turkish artists, who carefully redrew the original artwork using tracing techniques. This edition reflects that publishing practice of the era.

Alfa Yayınları originally launched the Captain America series on April 1, 1988, releasing it on a biweekly schedule, with a total of 20 individual issues published. Starting in February 1989, the publisher began releasing the series again under the label “Süper Cilt”, issuing 10 collected volumes on a monthly basis.

These “Super Volumes” were not newly produced editions in the modern sense. Instead, they typically consisted of previously published, unsold individual issues, gathered together and repackaged under a new cover, a common practice in Turkish comic publishing at the time.

Volume 6 compiles Turkish Issue #11 and Issue #12, bringing together eight original Marvel issues in a single collected volume:

• Turkish Issue #12 includes Captain America #199, #200, #201, and #202

These stories continue to feature Falcon as a key supporting character, highlighting his ongoing partnership with Captain America.
