Headbang was one of Turkey’s leading rock and heavy metal magazines, playing an important role in the development of the country’s metal scene and culture. First published in March 2007 as a free monthly supplement to Blue Jean magazine, it featured interviews with Turkish and international bands, album and concert reviews, music history features, and collectible posters. Its publication continued until September 2020, documenting more than a decade of rock and metal culture in Turkey.

This Turkish-language issue, number 66, was published in 2012 and features legendary heavy metal band Metallica on the cover.
