Star Trek – Cilt 5 – Alfa Yayınları Turkish Edition (1981) – Issues #13–15

Description:

This is a Turkish-language, black-and-white Star Trek comic collection published by Alfa Yayınları in 1981. The publisher released a total of 18 individual issues in Turkish, later also compiled into 6 collected volumes, each containing three issues.

The comics are based on the adventures of Captain Kirk and the crew of the starship Enterprise from the legendary science fiction universe created by Gene Roddenberry and popularized by the classic television series Star Trek: The Original Series. The stories follow the crew of the Enterprise as they explore space, encounter alien civilizations, and face political and moral dilemmas across the galaxy.

This particular volume is Cilt (Volume) 5 and contains the Turkish editions of three stories: Issue #13 “Evrenin Sonsuz Yolları,” originally published as “All The Infinite Ways” in Star Trek (1980) #13; Issue #14 “Eski Uygarlık,” corresponding to Star Trek (1980) #14; and Issue #15 “Acımanın Değeri,” corresponding to Star Trek (1980) #15. The overarching narrative involves the starship Enterprise under the command of James T. Kirk encountering a Klingon warship near the neutral planet Hephaestus, leading to a tense confrontation and a series of dramatic developments.

The cover artwork used on this Turkish volume is derived from the cover of Star Trek #14 published by Gold Key Comics.
