Originally titled Storia del West (“History of the West”), the series was created in 1967 by Italian comic authors Gino D'Antonio and Renzo Calegari. Rather than focusing solely on fictional frontier heroes, it presents a detailed and carefully researched chronicle of the American frontier, combining dramatic storytelling with real historical developments.
