Description:

This comic book is Issue #3 of the Best Classics series published by Milliyet Newspaper in Turkey between 1991 and 1992. The series consists of a total of 10 issues and represents the Turkish edition of the legendary Classics Illustrated series, adapted and distributed locally for educational purposes.

This edition of The Hunchback of Notre Dame was published in 1991 and distributed free of charge alongside Milliyet Newspaper, rather than being sold commercially. One of its most distinctive features is its bilingual format: the comic is presented in both Turkish and English. Milliyet released the series with the explicit aim of supporting English language learning, making it both an educational and collectible publication.

Another major point of collector interest is that the interior content matches the original American Classics Illustrated edition, while the cover artwork was newly created by Turkish artist Kemal. This combination of original American interior pages with a locally illustrated Turkish cover makes the issue especially unique.
