This comic is Volume 1 from a Thor collection series published in Turkey by Alfa Yayınları between 1987 and 1988. The series consisted of a total of 9 volumes. Although presented as a separate series, these books are actually collected editions of stories previously published in Alfa Yayınları’s earlier 21-issue Thor series. In this edition, those previously released issues were gathered together and republished under new covers, effectively marketed as a new Thor collection a sales strategy used by the publisher at the time.

Thor is one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic superheroes, inspired by the Norse god of thunder. In Marvel’s universe, Thor is the powerful prince of Asgard and the son of Odin, wielding the enchanted hammer Mjölnir which grants him immense strength and the ability to control lightning and storms. The character blends mythology with superhero storytelling and often deals with conflicts involving gods, cosmic forces, and powerful villains.
