This comic is part of the Turkish Uzay Zaman Ajanı series, published as a newspaper supplement by Güneş Gazetesi in the late 1980s. Printed in Turkish and in full color on low-quality newsprint paper, the series consists of a total of 7 issues.

The original series is Valérian and Laureline (French: Valérian et Laureline), created by writer Pierre Christin and artist Jean-Claude Mézières. First appearing in the French comic magazine Pilote #420 in November 1967, the series is a landmark in European science fiction comics.

In the Turkish edition, the main character Valérian is renamed Valeri, and the series is presented under the title Uzay Zaman Ajanı. The story follows Valeri, a space-time agent from the year 2770, and his companion Laureline as they travel across time and space, encountering alien civilizations, political intrigue, and complex intergalactic situations.

This issue, titled Gölgeler Elçisi, is the Turkish adaptation of “L'Ambassadeur des Ombres” (Ambassador of the Shadows), one of the most well-known and influential stories in the Valérian series.
