Asterix – Asterix and the Missing Scroll 2022 Turkish Edition Comic Turkey
Asterix – “Sezar’ın Papirüsü” (Asterix and the Missing Scroll) – Turkish Edition, Alfa Yayınları (2022)
Description:
This is a Turkish-language, full-color Asterix comic published by Alfa Yayınları, the publisher that officially acquired the Asterix publication rights in Turkey in 2022, succeeding Remzi Yayınevi. Following Remzi’s respected legacy, Alfa Yayınları continued to publish Asterix albums in original European album size, with faithful translations and high-quality color printing, closely matching the standard of modern European editions.
A distinctive feature of the Alfa Yayınları Asterix series is its non-chronological release order. Rather than starting from the earliest classic adventures, the publisher began with the modern Asterix albums, specifically those numbered 36–39 in the original French series. After publishing these newer titles, Alfa Yayınları then proceeded to release the earlier adventures starting again from No. 1, creating a unique numbering structure within the Turkish edition.
This volume, “Sezar’ın Papirüsü”, is the first book of the Alfa Yayınları Asterix series, although it corresponds to No. 36 in the original Asterix chronology. Originally published internationally as Asterix and the Missing Scroll, this story is part of the post-Uderzo era, written by Jean-Yves Ferri and illustrated by Didier Conrad, and reflects the modern narrative and visual style of contemporary Asterix albums.
