Description:

Iron Man Issue #2 is a Turkish black-and-white comic published in 1988 by Marvel Yayınları, continuing the five-issue Iron Man series released in Turkey during the late 1980s. As with the rest of the series, the original Marvel stories were produced in full color but published in black and white in Turkey due to the high cost of color printing. The interior artwork was recreated by tracing the original pages onto tracing paper, a standard production method of the period aimed at keeping cover prices affordable.

This issue once again reflects the characteristic editorial practice seen throughout the series, where the cover and interior stories do not correspond. The cover artwork is taken from Iron Man #142, selected for its strong visual appeal, while the interior features three earlier Iron Man stories titled Kızgın Demir, Maskeli Yağmacı, and Ölüm Çığlığı, originally published as Iron Man #59, #60, and #61. This deliberate mismatch between cover and content was common in Turkish comic publishing and was used to attract readers with striking cover art regardless of the interior material.
