This Red Kit comic was published in Turkey by Milliyet in 1988 as part of the 55-issue newspaper giveaway series distributed alongside the daily paper. Released between 1988 and 1989, this series represents one of the most widely circulated Turkish editions of the classic Franco-Belgian comic Lucky Luke.

Printed in Turkish and in full color, this edition preserved the colorful presentation of the original European albums. In order to make large-scale newspaper distribution possible, the comics were produced on thin paper typical of late-1980s newspaper supplements.
