Description:

This is Issue #5 of the Ms. Marvel comic series published in Turkey by Marvel Yayınları between 1987 and 1988. The Turkish run consisted of a total of seven issues and was printed in Turkish. Although the original American editions were published in full color, the Turkish editions were printed in black and white as a cost-saving measure, a common practice at the time.

Ms. Marvel, one of Marvel Comics’ prominent female superheroes of the late 1970s and 1980s, is best known through the character Carol Danvers. Originally introduced as a U.S. Air Force officer, Carol gains superhuman abilities and becomes Ms. Marvel, representing a more modern, independent superhero figure within the Marvel universe.

Issue #5, published in 1988, brings together material from different original Marvel publications. While the Turkish cover title is Ms. Marvel, this issue includes stories adapted from Ms. Marvel #8 as well as Avengers-related material, reflecting the mixed-source approach often used in Turkish Marvel editions of the period.
