This comic is Issue #1 from the short-lived Tarzan series published in Turkey by Aksoy Yayıncılık in 2001. The series consisted of a total of three issues and presented Turkish readers with material from the original The Tarzan Comics Library collection published by Dark Horse in 1999.

The Turkish edition is printed in black and white and adapts the first volume of The Tarzan Comics Library, titled Tarzan of the Apes. The story is based on the classic jungle hero created by Edgar Rice Burroughs and illustrated by the celebrated comic artist Russ Manning.
