This comic is Volume 2 from a Thor collection series published in Turkey by Alfa Yayınları between 1987 and 1988. The series consisted of a total of 9 volumes. These volumes are collected editions of stories previously published in Alfa Yayınları’s earlier 21-issue Thor series. The publisher repackaged the original issues under new covers and formats, presenting them as a separate Thor series — a strategy aimed at reaching collectors and new readers.

Thor is one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic superheroes, inspired by the Norse god of thunder. In Marvel’s universe, Thor is the powerful prince of Asgard and the son of Odin, wielding the enchanted hammer Mjölnir which grants him immense strength and the ability to control lightning and storms.
