This comic series was published in Turkey by Süper Yayınevi between 1981 and 1982 under the title “Savaş Özel Albüm,” part of a biweekly series that released a new issue every two weeks. The series consists of 11 volumes and adapts stories entirely based on real events from World War II. From the battlefields of the Pacific to continental Europe, from the deserts of Africa to small Mediterranean islands, every corner scarred by the sounds of gunfire and cries of war finds a place in these stories. Each issue was published every 15 days, providing readers with regular installments of wartime adventures.
Savaş Özel Albüm is composed of standalone narratives without a recurring protagonist, each story focusing on the realities of war.
