Zagor is a classic Italian comic book series created by Sergio Bonelli and illustrated by Gallieno Ferri. The character’s real name is Patrick Wilding, the son of Mike and Betty, and he is portrayed as a western–tarzanesque hero living in the fictional forest of Darkwood, located in Pennsylvania in the northeastern United States. Zagor fights to maintain peace between settlers and Native American tribes, combining elements of western, adventure, and jungle-style storytelling.
In Turkey, this long-running series has been published by Lal Kitap since 2002 and has reached a large number of issues, continuing to be released to this day. These editions are printed in Turkish and in full color, offering a modern presentation of the classic Zagor stories.
